Our client provide quality assured contract management services to the power generation, utilities, chemical and minerals industries. Developing rapidly in the facilities management arena, our client takes full responsibility from initial concept to project completion, combining state-of-the-art technology with innovative work methods to provide a higher than expected standard of service.
Due to internal re-organisation and the continued growth and success of their business they currently have an opportunity for an experienced HR Manager to join their team based at offices in Barnsley.
The main purpose of this role is to provide a high quality, responsive and innovative HR service across the business. You will be responsible for HR policy development, training and development, staffing information analysis, terms and conditions, recruitment and selection and employee relations. Within this role you will manage TUPE transfer processes and implement and maintain systems and processes for all of the key aspects of HR Management.
Successful candidates will ideally be CIPD qualified or equivalent with the ability to manage an HR team. You will establish professional credibility and maintain effective working relationships with staff at all levels across the business. Applicants will convey a highly professional image and credible approach to delivering the HR agenda and ability to instil the principles of quality, continuous improvement and professionalism within the HR support team.
