My client who are a global business are looking for an Environmental, Health and Safety manager to identify the Environmental, Health and Safety needs of the UK & Ireland Markets and to provide effective methods for addressing EHS activities across all aspects of both markets. To liaise with the Corporate EHS Team to ensure that all central initiatives are promulgated to the UK and Ireland Markets and that best practice is developed across the region. To provide EHS support for all market locations in the UK and to ensure that EHS is fully embraced by all employees as an integral part of the business.
Previous experience in managing EHS activities in the UK, ideally in a large Company environment is preferable. To successful candidate will have an understanding of business functions & processes. You will have an up to date understanding of EHS legislation (UK - essential, Ireland - desirable).
