Job Description

My client is a commercial organisation currently recruiting for a credible HR manager. The HR Manager will be managing a proactive HR team and working closely with the Head of HR. You will be responsible for driving an efficient HR service through operational and strategic support.
Key Accountabilities
Manage and coach the Human Resources team on a daily basis to ensure an efficient and pro active HR service is provided, objectives are defined and achieved within set timeframes and team members remain motivated and focussed on continuously improving the service that they provide and developing their own capability

Monitor all ER cases (including disciplinaries, grievances, absence and restricted duties) in line with the business, Company policy and employment legislation and manage any particularly complex cases. Manage and oversee legal surgeries (with Legal Advisor)

Manage key outsourced HR contracts, including but not exclusive of; BSC, Occupational health, payroll and CSR Recruitment contracts to ensure service level agreements are delivered as required

Oversee recruitment and secondments below SMT level to ensure best practice is followed when recruiting and promoting talent, fair, consistent and appropriate selection tools processes are adopted and feedback is available. Identify and implement continuous improvements through regular feedback

Ideally you will be an HR professional with broad generalist experience. It is essential that you have managed a team, complex ER issues, and recruitment campaigns and ideally be CIPD qualified. You must be able to build relationships at all levels and be credible and influential at middle/ senior management level.
