Working for a large retail organisation in the West Midlands we are currently recruiting an experienced HR Manager to work with Regional Managers within area of support to develop and implement business aligned people strategies that build people capability and achieve higher levels of performance.
Key Duties will include
To provide leadership and expertise on a wide range of HR issues and shape appropriate HR interventions, ensuring that the contribution delivers value to the Working very closely with the senior business team as:
ØAn internal consultant
ØA trusted HR advisor
ØContributing on general management and business related issues
ØProject manage HR initiatives with HR shared services
ØOverall client account responsibility on behalf of the function
Working with the businesses to identify people needs (short, medium and long term) and the put plans in place to deliver against this for each business unit
Working closely with customers of allocated business/brand/department and building trusted relationships
Working with shared services (OD and HRIS) to implement core HR processes with (phone number removed) customer such as
Ø Talent Pool Management and Talent Spotting
ØSuccession Planning & People Review activities
ØManpower planning and measurement of people related KPIs
ØER related projects
ØChange management
Typically this will involve
ØIdentifing and developing own brand/business specific HR ‘issues'
ØDeveloping proactive HR plans for own brand/business in line with strategic HR brand plans
ØManaging discrete projects with own customer such as designing and managing change whether that is in working practice, structure etc
ØContracting with ‘suppliers' within HR Department and others for their services
ØIdentify need for extra resources for discrete projects within brand/business
ØWorking on cross brand projects
ØCoach line management on legal and moral people management obligations
ØMonitoring and analyzing people trends and data
ØProject management – potentially across HR functions / brands Planning and organising
Ideal candidates will have the following
CIPD Qualified
Experience of working in a HR within a complex organisation
Project management Skills
Ability to communicate well at all levels.
