Our client is a leading professional services organisation, with huge growth plans in Eastern Europe and therefore they are looking for a Learning and Development Director, to build and manage the L&D strategy across Eastern Europe. This role is a start up opportunity to work in a fast paced environment and develop a self-learning' culture by focusing on the following areas: Develop a Learning and Development team across the region capable of providing a best in class business service that will motivate and engage the Eastern European community. Provide access to distinctive and exciting learning experiences that meet the needs of their growing business and the needs of all learners using a range of leading edge media Implement a talent management process including the identification of potential using agreed criteria and ensure that there are a range of career development offerings and challenging opportunities available to all talent pools Help all partners and staff in the region to proactively self manage their learning and development using the resources that are available and accessing all regional learning solutions Develop a cross-line of service skills review workshop for all our senior managers identified with the potential to progress further to facilitate and enhance their development so that they have the appropriate level of skills prior to progression to Director Select and develop a cadre of Partners and Directors as effective facilitators, coaches and developers of people who are recognised as delivering great value to the firm. Design a development programme for Senior partners in new roles (Board members etc) Ensure the pipeline of candidates for key roles is both strengthened and developed to meet future business needs through the earlier identification of potential successors and the provision of diverse career experiences and accelerated development as part of a broader talent management strategy Represent the Region in Global initiatives or network groups e.g. the Global Learning Framework The ideal Learning and Development specialist will have worked in an emerging economy, fast moving and changing region, ideally within a partnership environment. There will be significant scope for this role to develop and take on wider responsibilities.
