Management Development Consultant/ Learning Development/ HR Officer/ Manager/ Human Resources
Salary £38,000 - £46,000

Our client has been providing financial care since 1841.
As the Management Development Consultant, you will be required to assess, coach and develop Head Office Managers in order to improve performance management practice and skills, ensuring that the Head Office Performance Management regime is effectively implemented and supported. This will include the delivery of management skills development courses and workshops where you will also be required to identify best practice and ensure that appropriate developments are rolled out to the management population.
You will be required to undertake the assessment of Managers against benchmark performance in the areas of 1:1s and Team Meeting reviews, providing them with performance feedback and agreeing appropriate training and development interventions or action plans where appropriate.
You will research, develop and produce modular content of the Management Development Curriculum and represent the Head Office Training & Development Department on corporate initiatives and projects to ensure a management development perspective is fully considered and resourced.
Candidates for this role must have proven Management Development Consultancy experience, preferably within a Head Office or Customer Services environment, with the ability to consult with and develop Managers at Middle and Senior levels. You must have experience of competency based assessments and development methodologies and the application of management models within a Head Office management population. You should have significant experience in the successful design, production and delivery of management development training courses/workshops coupled with relevant Management Development / Training qualification/s (MCIPD or similar). Educated to degree level or equivalent, you must have the credibility to operate effectively, engage with and influence at Senior Management level. Financial services industry experience is desirable, although not essential.
