Niche asset management firm require an OD Consultant to cover maternity leave. Due to the recent appointment of a new Head of HR, this role will be evolving during the contract and there will be an opportunity to get involved in some key L & D projects.
Working with a client group of circa 500, this position is the sole L & D representative but sitting within the HR team reporting to the Head of HR, you will be working very closely with HR Business Partners and members of the HR community. Your role is to lead the development agenda enabling the organisation and its colleagues to achieve their strategic objections. Key deliverables include –
Graduate recruitment and development – ensuring the successful recruitment of new graduates through the designing and facilitation of assessment centre and all the work around that process which then follows onto induction and ongoing development.
Performance management – final preparation and implementation of the on-line performance management system and process (including system support), communication to the business and assisting in the design, scheduling and delivery of training to support this process.
Management development – Looking at potential development programmes for management working in isolation or with external sources
It is a pre-requisite that you have FINANCIAL SERVICES experience and an understanding of psychometric testing. This role operates at an operational and strategic level so you must be prepared to be hands on as required. This will be a busy role with demanding deadlines working within a supportive culture in a business that appreciates the value of HR. This role will be starting end August/start of September.
