We are looking to recruit a L&D Business Partner to provide L&D consultancy, expertise and input into the development of a Regional Operations strategic plan that recognises the business critical role of training and development and includes provision of the necessary interventions to support both the achievement of the plan and development of competence for the future. Deliver the agreed Regional Learning & Development agenda to ensure that all management populations have the skills, knowledge, abilities and behaviours to carry out their responsibilities and achieve their operational objectives both today and in the future In conjunction with the L&D Manager, Operations and HR agree, coordinate and deliver a Regional Training agenda with clearly identified priorities, timescales, objectives and evaluation methodologies which supports the achievement of the National L&D Strategy and operational objectives In conjunction with the Retail L&D Manager plan the Regional Learning and Development programme on an annual basis in line with business requirements. Support Store Management induction and development through the delivery of agreed national training programmes to ensure Store Management are equipped to carry out their roles, both now and in the future Design and deliver appropriate L&D interventions to train and develop the store manager population within the region, to continuously improve performance and develop a culture of Customer Obsession Project manage the development, design and delivery of appropriate Training
The person
Holder of a learning qualification (CITP, CIPD Diploma) The job-holder should have at least 3 years experience of the full training cycle of which at least 1 year ideally spent working with managers Able to demonstrate continuous personal development Aware of current best practice in learning and development Well developed influencing, negotiating and strategic thinking skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Commercial background preferred Well developed Project Management skills Experience of managing a small team Able to interpret best practise and design practical, fit for purpose solutions Able to advise regarding the design and implementation of training and development interventions Experienced coach
