Job Description

PRS for Music exists to help businesses and community groups get access to the world's music, whilst making sure that songwriters, composers and publishers are rightly rewarded whenever their musical works are played, performed or reproduced. With over 69,000 members, we employ c750 people and have annual revenues of over £600m, of which a fixed percentage is distributed to our members.

A recently refreshed strategic vision has led to the identification of key initiatives - the Learning andDevelopment Manager will be pivotal in achieving these, through consolidation of existing learning and development initiatives across the business and identifying and delivering new L&D intervention where required. Reporting to the Director of HR and working with the wider HR team you will take a partnership approach with the business in ensuring continuation of the excellent service they have come to expect.

As a confident and inspiring learning and development manager you will work with a learning & development consultant in providing directors, managers and employees with professional and comprehensive services in the identification of learning needs and provision of appropriate solutions.  In this varied end to end role your daily activities could range from consulting with directors on learning initiatives in the morning through to the delivery of a customer service course in the afternoon.

Ideally CIPD qualified with a certificate in training practice, you will be able to demonstrate experience in defining, designing, reviewing and evaluating training packages and programs across all levels in an organisation up to director level. Experience of leadership development would be advantageous. You will have substantial experience in soft skills training, particularly customer service and sales. A highly organised self-starter, you will display a passion and talent for developing your team.

We are looking for an individual who can project an enthusiastic and influential approach, a driven character who can bring creative ideas to learning & development as our organisation undergoes change and growth.

If you feel that this role is ideal for you send your CV to our retained consultant Darren Hayman at Macmillan Davies Hodes by clicking on 'Apply Here' . All CVs received by PRS will be forwarded to MDH.
