Job Description

Group Learning and Development Manager

 

One of the worlds leading oil, metals and minerals market traders, with a global presence in over 30 countries are currently looking to take on a Learning and Development Manager for their London offices.

 

They are looking for a resourceful and structured L & D manager to supervise the day to day activities within the global hr community. Take the lead and manage multiple projects within the L&D function, with regards to planning, communicating, directing and implementing L&D throughout the group, ensuring the development of the population to its full potential.

 

The successful candidate with the help the L&D team will:

 

  • Conduct the training needs analysis for teams and departments, ensuring that all staff adhere to the L&D policies
  • Provide support and advice to the HR community for L&D and training issues at all locations, reporting directly to the Group Head of HR.
  • Provide awareness of L&D products throughout the group, by managing, promoting and delivering the processes.
  • Provide high quality L&D consultancy/advice to managers.
  • Actively participate in the e-Learning projects.
  • Ensure that L&D budget is compiled annually and monitored and followed throughout.
  • Maintain external vendor relationships and source new global suppliers for local training delivery.

 

The ideal candidate will have proven strong organisational, communication and leadership skills. Be resilient when dealing with customers and deadlines and flexible to company change.
