My client, one of the UK's leading retail organisations is looking to recruit a commercially astute Learning & Development Manager on a permanent basis to cover both the Head Office and South of England.
The primary purpose of this position is to understand the challenges of the business and propose learning and development solutions that meet the business and staff needs. This is a hands on role that will see you developing, designing and implementing training initiatives and activities across multiple sites throughout the UK.
This role would suit an individual who understands and appreciates the operational side of a business and can produce training courses that capture their audience and allow them to take the message away and apply to their roles.
You will be instrumental in building relationships with managers and working closely with them to establish a strong talent pool at all levels. You will ideally have experience of e-learning, learning management systems, management development training, project management and multi site exposure.
To be successful in your application you will have gained previous experience operating in the capacity of Learning & Development Manager in a fast paced multi site environment, preferably from a retail background.
