An international leader in the logistics arena is currently looking for an experienced Training and Development Manager. With endless opportunity for personal development coupled with a leading brand against your name, you will act as the face of training and development for a client base of 750 operatives and a management team of approximately 100.
You will be involved in the full training cycle, from analysis through to the design and delivery of creative training methods to operational managers based in distribution. You will also be involved in succession planning, providing advice and support to managers on developing their team members and leading on various projects.
On the frontline of the full training cycle for 3 distribution centres you will build relationships with employees, developing and aiding them in their transition into management roles and also in turn provide development for a Training Officer who will report directly into you.
The ideal candidate will have experience in succession planning and the full training cycle - ideally within a blue collar environment. You will need to have commercial awareness, have the ability to work autonomously and the confidence to coach employees at a senior level. Experience obtaining government funding a bonus. Drivers licence is essential.
