Our client is one of the fastest-growing providers of insurance broking and financial services and healthcare in the UK.
Due to the continued growth and success of their business they currently have an exciting opportunity for a Learning and Development Adviser to join their team in Tollerton, Nottingham. They are embarking on an incredibly exciting journey. This is an opportunity for you to join a team that are at the forefront of developing this organisation and the individuals within it.
Reporting to the Learning and Development Manager your main responsibility will be to ensure that the requirements of the Group are delivered according to plan and in a cost effective manner. You will also be:
* Identifying objectives, designing and delivering learning solutions/plans to suit individual, team and business needs and in turn measuring their effectiveness
* Supporting implementation of Group wide learning and development initiatives including sales development, increasing management capacity, developing leadership potential
* Proposing business centred solutions to identified problems and issues
* Utilising coaching for a method of development.
The ideal candidate will hold a recognised training qualification or have equivalent experience from a Learning and Development role, ideally gained within a commercial environment.
You will be an excellent trainer with natural communication skills both written and verbal. Confident when dealing with individuals and groups at all levels within the business pulling on your consultancy, coaching and facilitation skills. You will provide internal consultancy for individuals and teams by understanding their needs, designing, delivering and evaluating the appropriate learning solution.
Successful applicants will have knowledge of Microsoft Office packages and will have the ability to manage and deliver learning and development projects. Providing a business focussed partnership is important to success in this role and travel will be a requirement. Therefore it is essential for candidates to hold a full UK driving licence.
