Learning & Development Manager – Oxfordshire – up to £45,000 plus benefits – Ref 5540

We have just registered a new Learning & Development Manager role at an expanding Oxfordshire Company.

This is an interim role for 6 months which will possibly become permanent. Reporting to the Head of HR, this represents a unique opportunity evaluate L&D Strategy, make recommendations for change and implement them. This is an exciting time for the organisation so it represents an exciting challenge for the successful candidate.

The key responsibilities will encompass the overseeing of a company wide training plan, the delivery of management and interpersonal skills programmes, the management of the training budget, being responsible for the induction process, and to make recommendations for priorities in training activities based on business priorities.

The successful candidate will typically be CIPD qualified, with experience of running a training function, managing budgets and developing strategy and policies. You should be calm and professional in your approach, with a flexible and adaptable attitude. Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
