Job Description

Learning & Development Manager – Oxford - up to £40,000 depending on skills and experience plus benefits – Ref 5876

This is an outstanding opportunity for a highly motivated person to move into a role in which they can have the opportunity to work at both a strategic and operational level, and shape learning and development within this Oxford business.

You will be involved in developing, implementing and managing a cohesive L&D strategy across the company, and championing and embedding new initiatives whilst ensuring staff development needs are met. The L&D Manager plays a pivotal role in maintaining their IIP accreditation; delivering in-house training and workshops; contributing to management, talent and leadership development; managing the delivery of induction training, H&S and emergency procedures and occupational health provision; and promote an explicit focus on quality, performance and continuous learning.

Our client is looking for a self starter with a passion and enthusiasm for training that will translate into the delivery that the successful candidate will do. To be successful you will typically be educated to degree level or equivalent with your CIPD qualification. You will have significant hands on training design and delivery experience (including a change programme and customer service training) as well as experience within an organisation that uses a competency based approach.
