Learning and Development Advisor - Charity – South London - c£34,000 + Benefits
Are you an accomplished L&D specialist, with drive, who is highly skilled in designing, delivering, commissioning and evaluating management development courses? Our client, a national charity, is looking for a high calibre L&D Advisor to drive the development of the organisation's L&D strategy. This newly created role needs someone who is experienced in all aspects of L&D, has worked in partnership with other organisations, has managed a budget and has the ambition to really make a mark on this standalone L&D role. The wealth of responsibilities include identifying L&D needs within the company, developing innovative L&D solutions and implementing an effective quantitative and qualitative approach to L&D evaluation. The role will also involve working within recruitment and selection and developing and implementing a talent management strategy. In addition, the successful candidate would be required to evaluate competency and management frameworks, manage the company's Investors in People accreditation, be the budget holder for the L&D budget and continually review and improve the performance management framework. The candidate must be prepared to contribute to team meetings and organisational priorities, have a flexible outlook, be independent but also be able to take direction on projects and priorities from line manager. The organisation is looking for someone who has a commercial mindset and will consider applicants from both the public and private sector. You will be required to travel infrequently to divisional locations with occasional overnight stays.
