This registered charity operating in London & the South East is experiencing a significant amount of change. The organisation is committed to appointing a Learning & Development Manager to assume responsibility for the strategic development of the training agenda for the organisation.
Working in partnership with the HR function and the wider business, you will be responsible for leading development, implementing and evaluating the L&D plan, evolving a learning culture across the organisation whilst supporting the business strategy. Working with the heads of department, you will identify learning priorities that are strategically aligned to the business whilst meeting the needs of the individual, and produce an annual training plan that will conform to the IiP standard. In addition you will work rapidly to understand the organisation, and the environment in which it operates to competently design, deliver and evaluate specific training programmes. Critical to this role will be the ability to work within a budget whilst creating successful strategies, learning plans and programmes from the ground up.
With a strong commercial focus, you will be ITD/ CIPD qualified and be able to demonstrate experience of identifying and implementing L&D solutions that have positively impacted on business performance. Exposure to the design and delivery of career development programmes and experience of supporting change management would be an advantage.
