Learning and Development Officer, Birmingham, £26,000 - £33,500
Our client a well known employer in Birmingham is currently recruiting a Learning and Development Consultant to join its development team. This role is a new role that is focused on delivering expert advice, guidance and input to enable the organisation to achieve its goals and objectives.
Key responsibilities:
To assist in the development and implementation of a new people development process, gathering data to identify and meet organisational development requirements
To design and deliver training sessions, coach managers providing necessary literature and organise events to facilitate management development
To review and evaluate programmes and training sessions, producing reports to propose new actions to senior consultants within the team
To establish credible relationships with stakeholders and managers, enabling effective use of programmes throughout the organisation and constructive feedback
To challenge and adapt current programmes to suit change and culture within the different departments of the organisation
It is essential as a learning and development consultant that you have demonstrated the ability to design and deliver training to all levels within a business, and to have consulted on development issues. Experience of relationship building, training, excellent IT skills and a qualification of degree level or equivalent are crucial.
