Job Description
My client is a leading financial institution based in the heart of West Yorkshire. As a company it has the size to offer great career progression and the forward thinking approach that keeps its culture and people at the forefront of development.
The ideal candidate will be coordinating the implementation of the group training programmes.
This essentially means you will be asked to take responsibility for ensuring that the training and development provides the organisation with the end-to-end strategy needed in order to ensure the attraction, retention and development of specialist talent.
This will be achieved through the following means;
You will be maintaining the technical competency framework, ensuring that it remains closely aligned to the strategy and business needs and reviewing content as required
You will also be maintaining a training portfolio that effectively supports the technical competency framework and meets company needs
You will own theTraining & Development intranet site and ensure that all content is appropriate, up to date and relevant
Your job will also involve collating and analysing agreed KPIs to gauge the success of the programme, as well as identifying action areas and proposing interventions to improve metrics where appropriate.
The ideal candidate will have the following core skills & competencies

Finding solutions - can you think clearly and innovatively?
You are likely to have strong learning and development experience.
Ideally you need to have a good commercial outlook linking HR activities to business impact.
You are also likely to have an understanding of financial issues and the ability to manage senior managers and third parties.
