Job Description
My client is currently looking for a Assistant Pensions Manager to join them on a 2 month interim assignment. You will be brought on board to provide effective, up to date pensions advice and support to the business in particular the HR team.
Key Responsibilities:-
*Provide day to day advice, guidance and support on pensions issues to the hr team to ensure they have sufficient pensions knowledge
*Work closely with Group Treasury and Tax Managers on pensions matters as required
*Ensure compliance of the pensions schemes with all relevant legislation
*Assist the integration team on acquisitions and new contract wins relating to pension matters.
Knowledge and Experience
*Solid pensions experience in a corporate environment
*Excellent understanding of defined benefit, defined contribution and alternative pensions schemes
*Proficiency in SAP HR and payroll systems or other recognised HR database
You will need to have an excellent analytical ability and numeracy skills, be pro-active, with the ability to work under your own initiative with direction
