Woodhurst's Shropshire based client are recruiting for 2 X Payroll administrators to assist in the delivery of the Admin Re payroll service including the support of all activities pertaining to settlements, deductions, collections and payments.
To manage the settlement of expense claims in accordance to Company polices including maintenance of accounting records and reconciliations. To maintain internal relationships within the business ensuring the needs of workforce are met.
Knowledge/Experience required:
-Computer literate with Microsoft Word, Excel and Access experience.
-Confident communicator
-Strong knowledge of payment systems and procedures
-5 GSCE or equivalent
Principle Job Objectives:
1.Maintenance of variable and standing payroll data provided by HR or other approved authorities in line with strict dead lines and control protocols.
2.Settlement of all expense claims and collation of credit cards records in line with approved company polices including validation of accounting records, authorisation processes and Inland Revenue guidelines.
3.Maintain records to support Inland Revenue reporting including P11D & PSA filling as well as maintenance of monthly accounting records recognising indebtness due to the HMRC.
4.Support in the payroll and pension scheme departmental allocations and the annual company contribution including the necessary postings for the general ledger and recharges of costs to appropriate companies and schemes.
5.Supporting the collection of deduction details from authorised personnel, promptly and accurately and pay all such retentions (including PAYE, NI, and Court Orders etc.) Over to the correct 3rd party, meeting any statutory deadlines, along with the submitting of all required annual returns.
6.Ensuring that properly authorised documents exist for all processed payroll changes and these can be located through a reliable audit trail.
7.Deal with day to day employee and Pensioner queries through to resolution including the recommendation of required actions.
8.Support any other adhoc activities required to support the payroll process.
