Job Description

My client is a forward thinking established public sector organisation. The team is consistantly growing with specialist roles and growing in stature. Would you enjoy the challenge of assisting to run the payroll for one of the largest organisations in the country using the latest technology (SAP)? Are you an enthusiastic and motivated person able to commit to the high standards set by the Payroll Service, with the ability to work accurately under pressure to meet tight and often conflicting deadlines? You will have previous experience of processing a payroll from start to finish and be able to carry out manual calculations with a good understanding of PAYE legislation. You must have experience of operating computerised payroll systems, ideally SAP, have strong leadership skills with previous supervisory experience, and be able to plan, allocate and evaluate work carried out by the control team. You will need to have excellent organisational and communication skills to ensure that systems and processes are in place to support the day to day delivery of Payroll Services to both internal and external customers
