This role is working for a company which was one of the success stories of the last year. This chain of retail stores is continuing to develop and expand across the UK with innovative products and rapid growth plans. Working on the recruitment frontline and alongside 4 Directors within Finance, the role will be a mix of instigating recruitment gaps, understanding the needs of managers and consulting on best approaches. You will be working commercially and within budget, however the emphasis is on offering solutions and offering advice and options rather than projecting an “advisory” approach. This is a partner and an internal support function – Not a recruitment watch dog!! The recruitment culture is very consultative, catering for the needs of the individual managers. You will be using a creative approach and adapting to the needs of the managers and being open to either a hands on or hands off approach – but being able to consult and offer advice on ways to source, manage the processes and offering an HR interview (screening) as an option to managers.
The role will suit someone who is not afraid to be proactive and can approach candidates on an adhoc basis, someone who can increase the companies network is required as is someone who can provide a positive experience to candidates and ensure the companies brand is held in high regard throughout their recruitment experience.
To take on this challenge you will ideally have a mix of in-house and agency or RPO recruitment experience. It is essential that you have experience in recruiting finance roles. You will be consultative, engaging and have exceptional relationship building and interpersonal skills. A degree is desirable but not essential.
