Job Description

A great opportunity for someone wishing to take ownership in the full recruitment cycle process. This is a highly regarded position within the organisation and will have direct contact and liaison with the Senior management team and CEO.

The role:

Reports to: Resourcing Manager
Supported by: HR Administrators
Key contacts: Recruiting line managers, candidates, agency PSL, HR Colleagues, Support functions, Advertising Agencies.
Objectives:
„X To enhance and develop the use of research specific recruitment agencies
„X To act as a consultant to the business; taking briefs, developing job specifications, training hiring managers, writing advertisements, interviewing candidates and taking ownership of driving the progress of each vacancy.
„X Working closely with the Resourcing Manager to develop and implement appropriate recruitment strategies to meet business needs.
„X To develop, source and exploit media advertising options and use to best effect to ensure successful attraction of candidates.
„X To promote internal resourcing by identifying potential candidates within the business that could be considered for positions within alternative specialisms.
„X To extract referrals from new starters and develop networks outside the business and utilise leads for direct head hunt.
Responsibilities

Relationships:
Working with line managers and Resourcing Manager to identify sourcing requirements and attraction strategies to meet overall demand, in line with best practice
Have expert knowledge of and provide guidance and training to line managers on recruitment and selection processes
Maintain a tactical view on the recruitment market place
Act as a key contact for all candidates managing the feedback and offer process
Work in partnership with ¡¥Direct Recruiter¡¦ to identify current and future requirements across the business
Make recommendations to ensure processes match the requirements of the business
Processes:
Ensure recruitment processes are maintained by the effective use of the in house ATS
Follow company policy/best practice for data protection and equal opportunities legislation
Develop cost effective sourcing strategies using appropriate channels
Manage the vacancy authorisation process via the ATS
Working with line managers to produce clear job descriptions and ensure posting to the internal careers site, the external careers website and other relevant external mediums
Agency PSL / Recruitment Advertising
Select, maintain and review agencies re PSL
Manage agency PSL effectively ensuring that the relationship is a partnership
Work with agencies to secure the best possible candidates
Maintain, update and monitor Terms and Conditions for PSL
Ensure cost per hire is kept to a minimum
Advise and implement a direct hiring strategy incorporating both print and internet advertising
Negotiate terms of and manage specific recruitment campaigns
Selection Process:
Perform initial CV shortlisting/ sifting against Job Descriptions
Provide guidance to hiring managers for further candidate selection at interview stages
Conduct competency based recruitment interviews for all vacancies where relevant
Provide guidance to managers on interview process, technique and legal framework of interview
