Job Description
Our London-based client, a market leader within the energy and utilities sector has a fantastic opportunity for a new Resourcing Manager to work within one of its most exciting, new joint-venture projects - an exploration site in Central Asia.
Due to a period of sustained growth, they are now looking for an experienced candidate to take ownership over the resourcing aspects of the JV. You will be involved in understanding manpower requirements and planning and looking at recruiting external hires on both an interim and permanent basis, both internationally and within the project office in central London. This will involve developing and executing a recruitment strategy for rare and complex technical roles, utilising both direct and agency sourcing methods. You will also be involved in internationally mobilising the existing talent pool and dealing with international assignments and expatriate issues. You will also have exposure to some generalist activity: providing advice on employee management to the project office and managing compensation and benefits policies for the expatriates.
The successful candidate with need to have significant in-house experience of recruiting technical construction or engineering roles within an international context, experience of managing multi-stakeholders within a complex organisation and ideally some previous generalist HR experience, although for the right candidate, this is not a prerequisite.
