Job Description
The Head of Resource Management will directly support the Head of the team through development and management of strategic resource and operational plans. They will also take total accountability for planning, structuring, leading and executing projects of high impact and complexity which will help improve the effectiveness of the GRCB technology organisation and improve the effectiveness of how they manage their resources and strategic skill-sets.
The role holder will act as the main client for the Resource Database and support the Central Support Technology office to move all resource data globally onto this tool. This role will require the holder to build and maintain excellent working relationships with other senior managers within the business and HR globally. This is a rare opportunity for someone to understand the scope, diversity and complexity of a large technology organisation and drive initiatives to help unite, grow and motivate the global technology team.

• Ability to take on a multi-faceted role demanding confident and articulate written and oral communication skills at all levels.
• It is a high profile role and the successful candidate will need to be experienced with speaking in front of an audience and delivering progress and performance reports.
• Must have a sound ability to listen, evaluate and advise actions across the team.
• Understands the best combinations in terms of specific attributes or capabilities as well as team behaviours required to produce high performing teams.
• It requires exceptional influencing skills, which in the most part will come from a maturity of approach and a thorough analysis and understanding of the issues being dealt with.
• This is a job for someone who is ambitious and determined to succeed but who has learned to temper this with an understanding of how to get the best out of others.
• It is taken as read that the person will be enthusiastic, pro-active and focused on delivering to a high standard.
