A leading retailer requires a proven retail resourcing consultant to facilitate customer service adviser and store management recruitment. The scale of the store recruitment is in the region of 9000 customer service adviser vacancies, and 350 managerial vacancies per annum. This role must be placed and up to speed by mid July 2008, and the sooner the better! You will report into the Corporate Resourcing Manager.
You will understand and advise on end to end recruitment processes, and going forward you will advise on continuous improvement and suggest where you feel appropriate new ways of working across the HR and recruitment function are appropriate. Following on from this, you will facilitate the communication and support of recommended process changes across the store estate. You will deliver and coach best practice around competency based interviews.
You will work closely with divisional mangers in driving the national recruitment agenda to meet business requirements and resource plans. You will partner the Attraction and Selection teams to ensure that a positive candidate experience is a reality across the retailing estate and complement the ever developing employer brand.
You will provide guidance and support to the recruitment administration function, and coach and mentor them to ensure that they are delivering against job vacancies and team objectives. You will champion store compliancy to end to end recruitment and selection, credit checking and contract generation processes.
Experience of PSL management, compliance to the PSL, and reduction of leakage is also highly desirable. You must be able to manage 3rd party supplier relationships and associated service level agreement and drive continuous improvement in supplier relationships and value to money.
You must be able to manage a broad and complex range of activities simultaneously, and demonstrate your ability to deliver through others. You will be required to influence at peer level up through the store and managerial populations to ensure integrity across the end to end recruitment process.
