Job Description
This is a great contract role for an experienced Recruitment Manager to join this niche organisation to work with key line managers to ensure the provision of an effective recruitment function. You will take full ownership of the recruitment cycle including selection processes, supplier management, legal compliance, cost control and offer management. This role will also encompass a small element of training to small groups on recruitment techniques and also new starter inductions.
Responsibilities:
·Develop and maintain knowledge of each business unit as well as relationships with key Managers
·Liaise with line managers on headcount forecasting and hiring strategy
·Manage expectations around recruitment processes, cost to hire, time-to-hire, legal considerations
·Provide advice in all recruitment processes
·Develop/ maintain PSL contracts with key external recruitment providers
·Develop effective working relationships with external providers and manage their performance
·Develop and enhance the ability to ensure greater utilisation of direct hires
·Manage costs with advertising agencies, print based media, and internet based job boards
·Promote and develop the employee referral scheme as a cost-effective recruiting tool
·Promote best practice in internal resourcing, developing it as cost-effective recruiting channel
·Advise line management on recruitment best practice including all legal obligations
·Coach line managers in the recruiting process and competency based interviewing
·Volume hiring, including screening and the running of appropriate assessment centres
·Vetting as required including employment, financial and CRB checks
·Maintain understanding of relevant legislation which affects recruitment
You will have broad and comprehensive recruitment experience, on both an operational and strategic level from an in-house perspective. You will have a proven ability to manage both volume and specialised resourcing and be able to demonstrable understanding of a variety of selection methodologies, including comprehensive competency-based interviewing experience and assessment centres.
