TRAINING MANAGER - Newcastle, up to £30,000 + Bonus + Benefits.
Based in Newcastle, the primary purpose of this role is to further develop, implement and promote a range of effective and innovative training solutions which respond to the needs of the customer and the construction industry. The Training Manager is a new management position and one that will drive the company strategy for increased training propositions and revenues. The position will involve strategic planning for training programmes, setting training budgets and ensuring that plans are in place to deliver against our challenging targets.
Responsible for the management, motivation and success of an existing team of 5, you will organise team resource across a range of activities including customer visits, training, event support and product testing. The role also includes representing the team at a range of working groups and ensuring the team are kept abreast of all company developments.
The successful candidate must be forward thinking and commercially aware with a proven ability to identify and exploit new training opportunities. Experience of delivering training, developing and implementing successful training plans and managing a training team are essential. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are also required.
Nationwide travel is a key element of the role in helping to develop the team therefore flexibility and commitment are key requirements.
