Learning and Development Manager - Professional services LONDON £45KMy client a leading professional services organisation is looking for a candidate who can look after the following responsibilities and build on the companies current offerings to deliver an effective strategy but still remain hands on with design and delivery. This is a permanent role with the intention of starting as soon as possible.
This role includes a base salary of circa £45K
Core responsibilities include:
- Publicise and make available a range of training methods and resources appropriate to different needs and learning styles
- Administer the training programme efficiently and effectively
- Design and deliver both technical and soft skills training courses to staff and produce appropriate training materials.
- Manage the sourcing, work and evaluation of external providers
- Manage suppliers and ensure that this follows our procurement guidelines and that the most competitive price is achieved.
- Consider new training initiatives to develop technical, management, business and IT skills within the firm
- Manage the development and deployment of an e-learning resource providing technical and other training to internal and external staff
- Record, monitor and report CPE achievement across the firm.
- To assist with the development of graduate trainees to pursue professional qualifications and support the business objectives.
- Assist HR colleagues and department heads in the HR manpower planning process to identify the number and type of professional trainees required
- Give talks and liaise with relevant student groups and Institutes to promote company
- Produce training agreements covering non-chartered professional exam qualifications and review on an annual basis.
- Maintain an accurate and up to date diary and filing system for the reference of others
- Assist the compliance department by regular reporting on the status of attendance of regulated courses and CPD.
