Job Title: Training & Development Manager
Duration: 12 Month FTC
Location: Liverpool
Salary: c£35,000
The Background
A strong household name, this manufacturing business is currently enjoying continued growth & success. We are currently recruiting for a Training and Development Manager to join the training team and provide a seamless service to this highly unionised manufacturing site.
The Role
Ensure the organisation develops the skills, knowledge and behaviours to successfully deliver growth plans and ensure that employees at all levels are equipped with the necessary skills and ability to deliver against plans maximising business performance.
The role will include:
Manage all training resources and cost centres.
Deliver training and development solutions to drive business performance and the site change agenda.
Drive and establish the training cycle as he systematic approach for managing training and development.
Identify, source and manage internal/external training providers to design/facilitate the training to meet clearly identified needs.
Ensure frontline training is delivered in line with manufacturing standards ensuring customer service requirements are met.
Participate in project related activities to ensure training requirements are identified.
The Person
The ideal candidate will have a significant amount of experience of process driven training, designing training courses together with knowledge of team dynamics training. Ideally gained within a unionised, manufacturing background and a sound knowledge of lean manufacturing and IIP would be advantageous. You will be immediately available seeking a role within a fast-paced organisation.
