Job Description


Legal Training Manager Law Firm, London up to 60k

 

My client, a leading UK law firm, is looking for a Legal Training & E-Learning Manager, to support the delivery of the firms Knowledge Strategy by devising, developing and managing the delivery of effective and appropriate legal training across the firm at all levels. 

 

Your main responsibilities will be;

-           To conduct training needs analysis in order to capture the requirements for legal             training             across all practice areas and levels of qualification in the firm.

-           Based on the results of the needs analysis, to work with Knowledge Lawyers             and Knowledge Partners in each practice area to produce a legal training curriculum for             each practice area and level of qualification in the firm.

-           To select the medium and coordinate the format and content for the curriculum.
 
-           To ensure the best methods and media are used to deliver the legal training required.

-            Specifically to maximise the value that the firm can gain from using e-learning software.

-           To lead the design and production of e-learning modules as appropriate for the delivery             of the more information based training elements of the curriculum.

-           To manage the delivery of legal training to meet the firms requirements, whether by             delivering some sessions personally or by assisting Knowledge Lawyers, associates or partners to deliver the training.

-           To source, as appropriate, external providers to deliver legal training courses as a             supplement to the internal delivery of training.

-           To evaluate and capture feedback on all courses and modules delivered and             to incorporate this feedback to improve training modules further.

You will have a legal background, ideally as a Solicitor with have extensive design and delivery experience.
