Job Description

A small international transport organisation is seeking a Training Supervisor who will train global staff on competencies. Undertakes and provides assistance with the coordination, development and delivery of training programmes for Maritime where a need has been identified to support operational activities Undertakes and provides assistance with the coordination, planning, development and delivery training for the inspectorate and for the continuing development of inspectorate competencies Responsible for reviewing the accuracy and consistency of databases and IT applications for the ITF and where problems are identified that effective solutions are recommended, agreed and implemented. Responsible for contributing to and leading IT related projects for Maritime Responsible for assisting in the continuing development of inspectorate competencies Assists with and is responsible for the organisation of national and regional meetings or seminars designed to ensure continued development of the inspectorate and enhanced relationships with Maritime affiliates Responsible for the provision of recommendations on best practice for creating and maintaining data records Contributes to and is responsible for mapping, coordinating, monitoring and leading IT related projects for Maritime Responsible for evaluating training methodologies and for making recommendations as to those appropriate for Maritime Attends all relevant meetings including representing the ITF as required to external organisations and in its communication with the media Proven experience in a training development and delivery role and knowledge of other European languages would be highly advantageous.
