Job Description

Job Summary

This a great opportunity to join the B2C sales training team based in the Staines office supporting the personal telesales area. You'll have a chance to develop strong business partnerships across UK Membership.   You'll be encouraged to work with /collaborate with other trainers to develop Call Centre Operations including Travel. You'll have a visible role where you'll foster a learning culture throughout UK Membership and be a role model showing a thirst for knowledge and learning.

Key Responsibilities  
  • You'll be working with the Operations Managers to agree the scope of projects to be undertaken which are aligned with people strategy, plans and policies.
  • You'll be carrying out effective training needs analysis, challenging our customers as to the appropriateness and urgency of the training solution. As well as this you'll be designing, delivering and evaluating creative and innovative learning and development solutions. 
  • Designing innovative learning and development solutions which utilise blended methods and the latest technology.
  • Managing delegates during training, fostering respect amongst the group in a supportive environment through our professional approach and role modelling.
  • Contributing to managing the training budget by ensuring cost effectiveness of learning and development solutions and being conscious of containing the cost base.
  • Managing Training and Development projects, utilising Best Practise project management methodology and documentation.
  • You'll enhance communication, and the feedback process, across all areas
  • A background in a customer service oriented role would be advantageous.
  • Benchmark our processes with external organisations and aim for continuous improvement in all we do.
 Specific Skills 
  • You'll be expected to understand complex situations across UK Membership and recognise business wide implications before making recommendations and taking decisions in relation to Training and Development.
  • You'll have a high degree of Training and Development knowledge with good problem solving ability is required to influence and make decisions which positively impact the business.
  • You'll have a good understanding of what makes someone a good sales person
  • You'll strive to delight the customer.
  • You'll use highly tuned analytical skills to deliver appropriate tailored learning and development programmes to specific individuals.
