Job Description
My client is currently looking for a Training Manager to work alongside senior management, training consultants and HR consultants. You will be responsible for managing the delivery team who will identify, design, plan and deliver highly effective training that will develop skills, capabilities and behaviours of the employees. Providing leadership, direction and personal development is essential to this role. You will ensure that all bespoke development solutions across the Training team are planned, designed and delivered in a timely and effective way so that the needs of the business are met. An ability to build strong customer relationships across the business is key and you must seek to continuously improve the organisations portfolio by developing creative and innovative solutions. Responsible for identifying, maintaining and reviewing a preferred supplier list with external providers, you will ensure that a high standard of delivery is maintained. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are paramount and you will have the aility to build strong relationships and influence others. Self motivated, enthusiastic, you will be able to bring a sense of urgency to situations and can demonstrate a proactive approach. Membership of CIPD or relevant professional organisation is desirable and you must have had previous experience working in an organisational development environment and managed a team. This position is going to require flexibility in terms of travel. The ability to handle a varied, flexible and geographically spread workload whilst meeting deadlines is going to be very important and with regular travel across the UK there is going to be a requirement of occassional over night stays.
