Product Trainer/Consultant - West Yorkshire - £20K to £30K plus bens & mileage allowance (salary dependant on experience)
Summary
This position involves working as part of a team to train and support on all aspects of our client's software however payroll will be the main focus for this role. You must be a good team player but also be able to work on your own initiative building up and maintaining good relationships with our client base.
You must be willing to travel and stay away from home frequently as this role is mainly working on our clients' sites UK wide.
The role is key to the successful operation and future growth of our client and gives the right candidate a real chance to make a difference to this small team.
Core Responsibilities
Training our clients staff on our clients suite including HR ,Training , Recruitment and Payroll
Implementation of data transfer through to consultancy/training with the customer
To quickly become an expert on all of our clients Payroll modules, particularly focusing on the payroll system
Manage the customers expectations and make key decisions when necessary
Provide second-line support to the help desk, including first line cover for sickness and holidays.
Assist in the testing and quality assurance of any new features of our clients
Liaise with clients to qualify and document their requirements for new features or enhancements to existing ones
Assist in the revision of existing documentation to reflect enhancements and new features in future releases of the software
Attend and present at our clients user groups
Attend, demo and liaise with new prospects at HR and Payroll shows

Highly PC Literate, including Microsoft Office
Essential Skills
At least 2 years experience of payroll processing from start to finish
Up to date knowledge of SSP ,SMP and payroll legislation
Knowledge of BACS payments, Tax, NI, P45s, P46s and P60s
The willingness and ability to travel within the UK with over night stays - must be able to drive & have own car
Quick to learn
First class written and spoken communication skills.
Confident working alone and building up good relationships with new clients
First class organisational skills
Strong initiative skills, demonstrated in an imaginative approach to creating and delivering training courses, support and new ideas
To be self motivated and capable of working without supervision
Essential IT Skills
Microsoft Office (Core products Word, Excel, Internet Explorer etc.)
Highly PC Literate
Microsoft Outlook
