As a HR graduate you role will be filled with gaining experience in all aspects of HR. Your work will allow you to develop into a HR officer, where you will then be given a portfolio of departments.
Your Duties Will Involve:
Meeting department representatives to discuss HR issues
Refer any issues to senior HR staff
Assist with any recruitment needs through liaison with agencies/advertisers
Co-ordinate with prospective candidates, interviews & administering offers.
Conducting inductions of new staff
Inputting monthly payroll information
Assist with production and implementation of HR policies and procedures
Working a standard 40 hour week in the office on a monday-friday. Your salary is going to start at £15,000 and will improve to as high as £18,000 as you develop into a HR Administrator. If you move up to a HR Officer your salary will again improve to £18,000 - 25,000.
As a HR Trainee you should have:
A genuine interest in holding a career in HR.
Strong verbal & written communication skills.
Strong administrative and organisation skills.
The ability to act in a confidential and sensitive manner.
Confidence in gathering facts and making financial decisions.
Ability to work as part of a team and hold a good attention to detail.
