As an HR advisor you're responsible for the delivery of a full range of HR services. Your main role is to advise both employers and clients on recruiting new staff and taking care of current staff when they are hired.

With a full time role you'll be working 37-40 hours a week, often 9am-5pm. Office based, there maybe some requirements to travel off-site for meetings and conferences. You can expect to work in the commercial or public sector, which could include banks, retailers or local and national government. Salaries often range from £22,000 - 40,000 and senior advisors can expect a salary of £50,000+ a year.
You are expected to hold a degree in human resources, with up to four years subsequent relevant experience. CIPD qualifications are essential, these courses and qualifications can be taken either through full or part-time study.
