HR Officers are seen enjoy working with people and are comfortable with an office role. Responsibilities Include:
Hiring staff, through both interviews and advertising
Working to plan future staff needs with managers
Collect and maintain employee records
Staff training and development
Staff services; pay, benefits, welfare and counselling
Dealing with any complaints or discipline procedures
Promote equality, and health and safety
Advise management on pay negotiations, redundancy and employment law.
Develop future HR policies and procedures
Collate and develop staff handbooks
For a fulltime role you would be working the standard weekly office hours, but temporary and part-time work can often be available. Your salary expectations initially may start our at £15,000 - 19,000 will more experienced officers expecting salaries being £18,000 - 25,000+.
