Ensuring staff are fully trained and can do their job effectively, is a major part of a HR Training role. You will be responsible in making sure that staff get all the help they need in learning new skills and developing existing ones. Alongside the design and development of training schemes you will work with employees to establish the company's needs. Multi-tasking in a big factor in this role which could involve:
Drawing up training plans.
Producing training material.
Working with training providers.
For the most part you'll be working in a typical 9-5 office environment, but there will be places where you will need to be more flexible to match any courses or training for staff. This could also involve travel to teach courses and offer training off-site or at different company offices. In terms of salary (depending on location) a HR Training Manager would be looking at anywhere between £19,000 - 40,000. If you later develop into a training director or senior manager then your salary should extend to £50,000.
