About the Role
As Area HR Advisor, you will contribute to the achievement of company strategy and branch business plan objectives, through providing pro-active support and advise within all aspects of HR.
As the HR lead for your area, you will provide specific and timely advice / recommendations to Managers on all legislations and policies and procedures including disciplinary, grievance, absence management and performance enhancement. Supporting continuous improvement and updates of HR policies, procedures and guidance, you will assist in the implementation and embedding of all HR initiatives and support all aspects of their recruitment and selection process, working closely with Managers to target, attract and retain the best candidates.
If you are CIPD qualified (or working towards this) and have demonstrable HR experience to include managing HR case work for remote sites, then they would love to hear from you.
You will need to have excellent communication and decision-making skills, be highly resilient, pro-active in your approach and confident when it comes to people management. You will also need to be competent in driving employee engagement, have experience of improving manager capability and have knowledge of HR processes, procedures and employment legislation.
This role will involve travel so good planning and organisational skills are a pre-requisite to allow you to effectively manage your time and diary.
