My client, a leading construction business with offices across the country and globally are seeking an Area HR Manager to cover London and the South East regions.
You will be travelling 3 days a week for this role so it is vital that you are OK to be out and about and on the road. The other 2 days you will be based in the HQ in Kent. Idally you will have experience in HR previously from a construction background, and a similar regional role where you are used to travelling for up to 3 days a week.
You will reprort to the regional HR director who covers the South and your role will be covering all the qualities an experienced HR Generalist will cover to around 400 people in the area including policies, iniatives, projects, talent management, TUPE, performance management, training for graduates, learning and development programmes in general and Employee Relations. Employee Relations will be around 50% of the role so it is essential you have experience in this, ideally from a construction background.
You will have the option to lead, develop ad advise a HR Adviser where it is relevant in the area and you will ensure compliance with the legal employment laws nationally.
