Job Title: Assistant Development Officer (Health and Wellbeing)

Salary: £17,681 - £18,672 pa
Hours: 37 hours per week

There's now a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed Assistant Development Officer to support on Health and Wellbeing related projects.
You will support Suffolk Sport to deliver programmes and projects with the aim of increasing participation in physical activity across the county - particularly physically inactive people, older people and those with long term health conditions.
Your responsibilities will include promoting the work of Suffolk Sport, providing excellent customer service and regular communications to participants and key partners and supporting the ongoing monitoring and evaluation of projects.
You will have an awareness of the benefits of a physically active lifestyle and an understanding of the wider issues around achieving increased levels of participation amongst people with long term health conditions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills will also be essential to this role, as well as good planning, organisation, team work and administrative skills.
