What does the company do;

Opening a small start up Taiwanese restaurant in Brixton market. Intern would be involved in every aspect of opening the new business and support the experienced team members. Examples of tasks include helping to organise team training, assisting with menu development (and tastings!!), simple data input for bookkeeping and HR admin, social media set-up and marketing.

How you can expect to spend your day;

This is a very wide-ranging role.The morning could be spent in the office making sure food orders are organised and social media is updated; he afternoon could be spent setting up the restaurant for the evening trade. This would generally be an office based role but the intern also needs to be flexible and will be expected to pitch in at the restaurant and help out in the opening stages.

The ideal intern’s personality and qualifications;

Enthusiastic, common sense, good with high pressured situations, witty and personable, organised and experienced with social media (especially twitter and instagram), willing to pitch in and try new tasks (no matter how simple or complicated).
