Poole, Dorset (with extensive travel)
c£40,000 DOE pro rata Plus Excellent Benefits
We are the RNLI: the charity that saves lives at sea. Every day of every year, people of all backgrounds get into difficulty on and around the water. It’s a problem that we’re here to tackle and we are determined to reduce drowning.
This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of the RNLI’s Change Management function and help shape, influence and deliver change plans to reduce drowning and save lives.
As a Change Delivery Lead (Business), you will work closely with others to help create a clear and compelling vision for change that makes sense to our Coastal staff and volunteers and that is underpinned by a defined delivery and implementation plan.
You will be leading and coaching others on the people side of change, ensuring that those impacted are ready, willing and able to meet the new changes and ways of working.
This is a pivotal role supporting us with embedding change into our Search and Rescue units and will therefore require a large amount of travel around the coast with a minimum of one day a week to be based at head office in Poole, Dorset.
To join us as the Change Delivery Lead, you will need:
- Experience and knowledge of change management, as well as programme and project management
- Experience of coaching others in the use of change management tools and techniques to support others through behavioural change
- An excellent understanding of organisational issues and challenges
- Strong advisory and influencing skills
- The ability to deliver change activities within programme and project environments
- The ability to deliver significant change messages to varied audiences across multiple sites using a range of communication skills
- A change management certification
- A degree level qualification
- A full, valid driving licence
A project management or CI certification would be beneficial to your application.
We support flexible working practices and are therefore open to consider slightly reduced or compressed hours for this role.
The closing date for applications is the 22nd July 2018. Interviews are scheduled to be held on the 30th and 31st July 2018.
Our staff and volunteers have been saving lives at sea without prejudice for nearly 200 years. We respect and value diversity of background, skills and perspectives within our teams, and consider it essential to help us deliver a world-class lifesaving service. We are an inclusive organisation and welcome applications from everyone. In addition to having the skills needed for the role, we also look for applicants who share our commitment to living our RNLI values (trustworthy, courageous, selfless, and dependable), and helping us work towards our goals of halving drowning in the UK and Ireland by 2024. This involves a growing commitment to preventative action, using our expertise to work in partnership with communities locally, nationally and internationally to prevent drowning.
