A retail brand based in the West End are currently looking for a Compensation Manager to join their head office team based in London.
There are 3 main parts to this role, the first being HR Control where you will be managing and building budgets across all departments and working with the finance team to ensure these are tracked on monthly basis. You will also be in charge of budget review and providing insights and analysis to management so being able to speak and understand the financial elements are essential!
The second aspect of this role will be the Compensation & Benefits piece where you will be managing all benchmarking, the end to end benefits strategy making sure it is competitive and all calculations relating to commission and bonus.
The final part to this role is Reporting & Analysis. Supervising the monthly and annual HR reports fall solely under your remit so you will need to be comfortable when it comes to pulling information off the systems and understanding the data.
You will be looking after a team of 4 so you must have previous people management experience!
Ideally the person who is going to be perfect for this role is going to have a financial or compensation & benefits background AND excellent commercial awareness; you need to be able to understand how certain processes and actions can affect the financial situation of the business and be comfortable relaying this information to the senior management team and stake holders. A proven track record in Financial Controlling and being able to understand payroll processes to an extent is going to be key.
European & International exposure would be an advantage .
