Compensation Manager (Global Incentives) 

An effective sales team ensures profitability and it is vital for those teams to be appropriately incentivised and rewarded. The regular review and development of those sales incentive programs is a must to ensure that the organisation remains competitive in the marketplace and our client have introduced a new role to lead that process.

The ethos with our client is one of excellence, which will come as no surprise given the company was spun out of The University of Cambridge. The office is located at High Cross in Cambridge, which is conveniently close to M11 and there is also free parking on-site. 

Position: Global Incentive Compensation Manager 
Location: Cambridge (Commutable from Bedford, Luton, St Neots, Peterborough, Northampton and surrounding areas) 
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

About the role: 

Their Global Incentive Compensation Manager will report into the VP of Sales Operations and will support the review of sales incentive compensation programs and the design of new incentive compensation plans. As well as a responsibility for managing the design and administration of pay programs, they will participate in the research, analysis, development, revision and implementation of Incentive Plans to keep the organisation competitive in the marketplace. 

About you: 

As an experienced sales and reward professional, you will have experience of providing recommendations to senior management around their variable compensation strategy and suggesting suitable compensation calculation and measurement tools. You also will be familiar with using data from multiple sources to create models which effectively project the effectiveness of newly designed compensation programmes. 

Your corporate experience leading the review and development of incentive programs, allows you to successfully link sales reward initiatives to overall compensation philosophy and the wider business goals. Your strong network within the sales sector means that you can accurately judge the current state of a company’s variable compensation system as it relates to the industry. 

You may have experience of the following: Compensation Manager, Reward Manager, Compensation Specialist, Senior Compensation Analyst, Sales Compensation, Sales Incentives, HR Manager, HR Business Partner, HR Management, HRBP, etc.
