Deployment Lead & Project Manager (SCCM) - London/Berkshire - £300 to 400 p/d - 6 months

A industry leading FTSE 250 are embarking on a Desktop/Laptop hardware refresh & Windows 10/Office 2016 Upgrade. This role is for a Technical Deployment Lead/Project Manager who will be responsible for managing the deployment workstream to support the new Windows desktop across the companies global estate of users. This initial 6 month contract will pay up to £400p/d to the right candidate. Time will be split between London and Berkshire so flexibilty on location is key.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the successful technical deployments for the Windows 10 Refresh as measured by time-scale and quality of the delivered solution
  • Work with internal IT teams and business stakeholders
  • Supporting Application Workstream Lead and Windows 10 Project Manager on workstreams related to the programme
  • Supporting the Project Lead to effectively manage project risks and issues and delivering appropriate reporting as required by IPP and the programme sponsor
  • Travel between sites in London and Berkshire
  • SCCM Admin and Corrections

Technical/Professional Qualifications/Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience of Windows 10 migration projects, including PC device rollout in a global business environment
  • Hands on SCCM admin experience (ideally SCCM 2016)
  • Extensive experience of Windows 10 application compatibility analysis, remediation, rationalisation, packaging, testing, SCCM, imaging, build services and data migration
  • Extensive experience of Office 365 and upgrading Microsoft Office platforms, ideally Office 2010 to Office 2016
  • Proven track record of successful management of stakeholders at all level
  • Significant experience of using project management tools and techniques, including risk management
  • Degree in IT or related discipline or equivalent experience
  • MSP or Prince 2 accreditation or APM/ PMI qualifications
