Employee Relations Partner, London, Financial services, £60k - 15 month contract

My Client, a leading investment financial services firm, is looking for an Employee Relations Partner. Working closely with the senior management team on a daily basis, this role requires intellectual gravitas to be able to operate at the level required.

Dealing with complex ER issues, this role requires a pragmatic approach and strong knowledge of employment law. Other key responsibilities include:

  • Development and delivery of a robust ER and performance strategy which is aligned with the people priorities
  • Input to the performance strategy in establishing and promoting a progressive culture in order to achieve highest levels of business performance
  • Develop and deploy the ER strategy with the HR team and business to support major change initiatives, such as restructuring
  • Communicate and ensure understanding by managers and employees of relevant laws, regulations, and organisational policies and answer non-standard questions by managers and employees as needed
  • Partner with internal and external counsel to prepare for and, when necessary, attend mediations, arbitration, and other court proceedings such as Tribunals
