Job Role:

Our Client is a Christian organisation and part of a federated network of over 100 YMCAs in England. They consists of two organisations:

North London (Hornsey) Housing Society Ltd - a registered housing provider regulated by the Homes and Communities Agency, and North London (Hornsey) - a charity limited by guarantee, providing a range of community facilities including a fitness centre, childcare services, children’s sports and recreational activities and community events etc).

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and experienced Executive Assistant to provide a responsible and supportive administrative service to the Chief Executive and Board of Trustees.  This position provides an opportunity for a person with the right blend of administration, organisation and interpersonal skills to join us at this extremely exciting time for the organisation.

The Executive Assistant will join the Senior Management Team and together with the Chief Executive, they will be an ambassador for the organisation and will often be the first point of contact for visitors.  The Executive Assistant will be providing a wide variety of complex and confidential administrative support to the CEO, Board of Trustees and Senior Management Team, communicating information to, and on behalf of the Trustee Board to service users, employees and other interested parties.

With significant experience of supporting a Chief Executive and Trustee Board in meeting an organisations aims and objectives, the successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the provision of a high-performance culture that emphasises empowerment, quality, productivity and standards.  Candidates should possess excellent Microsoft Office skills, experience of preparing Board papers and arranging Board meetings, minute-taking and preparing presentations. A background in social housing and the third sector will be a distinct advantage, as will experience of working within a diverse organisation.

This position offers an excellent package, including 25 days holiday plus bank holidays for the right candidate.
